Gary James Gruenewald

I worked with Maria at Defense Mapping many years ago. I remember visiting their house when it was toward the end construction for a "Kamikaze" party. It was amazing. An amazing couple. Sorry I missed this from many years ago.

Maria -- I am so sorry for your loss. I was reading about Gary and his life reflects one of those special souls that walks into peoples' lives. Take care.

I never met Gary, but do remember you telling fond and amusing stories about "Gruenewald". I'm truly sorry for your loss.

Losing our friend is very sad for all of us, but knowing Gary he wouldn't want us to feel that way. That's how he was, he'd be more concerned about his friends than himself, deflecting attention toward someone else to consider. He was funny, during room fulled events or around the campfire how he had these running comentary's and jokes that unless you were sitting right beside him would go unheard, funny stuff if you caught it. But like i said we wasn't looking for attention or appreciation...

Gary was a very cool brother in law with his quiet demeaner, great sense of humor, and most of all his kind and generous nature. He will be missed! Love, Sue
