Not sure what to say?

Gary was such a figure in the old DOS office of Coastal Resources, that this sad news is hard to believe. He kept everyone's spirits up with his humor yet was sharply effective at regulating development by achieving modifications to projects. Looking out for fairness and his co-workers´ best interests, Gary also served DOS as the PEF representative for many years. My sympathy goes silently out to Terra - she must be heartbroken after having been through so much. Shedding tears for them both,...

Gary and I worked together art the Dept. of State for many years. He was nobodies fool but he would play the fool because he loved to hear people laugh. He was a great friend and colleague. I can only wish him well on his next journey.

Gary was the best and will be missed !! We love you Gary! Love Tom and Diane

Gary was a dear friend and colleague. We worked for many years together on a team at the Department of State, Division of Coastal Resources. We shared many good times while working to better the environment. He was a lifetime friend and I miss him very much as a force in my life.

Please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of Gary. I hope that peace will find a place in your hearts, and you find strength during this difficult time. Gary will be missed.

Terra and family, we know wherever Gary is right now, he´s making everyone laugh. He had the ability to turn a bad situation into a comedy (work life!). He fought a long, hard battle and even though he had to leave us, we know he entered the other side - the winner! May Gary´s fighting spirit, sense of humor and love of life guide you throughout your lives. Gary, Thank you for your friendship over the years and for never giving up! It has truly been a pleasure. Until we meet again....Rest...

To all of Gary´s Family: I am very sorry for your loss.

Gary was my colleague at NYS Department of State. He was also a friend and brother in having shared similar experience/exploits in the Caribbean. One phrase to describe Bro is "fierce advocate," which I could envision him doing on somebody´s behalf even now. My Bro, you lived life and made an impact. It is now time for you to rest from your advocacy, in eternal and everlasting peace. My heartfelt condolences also go out to Gary´s family, particularly his loving wife Terra, on your loss.
