Not sure what to say?

Sadly missed, and always remembered.

A true gentleman! The time had come to say goodbye, To let him take his last drive to the sky, Garys last drive will take him to, Somewhere he will watch over you. Your mate has gone, freed from his pain, You'll never have to see him cry again, But his love you'll feel every day, As you draw your breath to live the day. Memories of a Wonderful Holiday, a wonderful sense of humour, and neverending friendship.

Deepest sympathy to Pat and all the families for their sad loss. Gary was an inspirational gentleman, whose kindness and generosity helped make my visit to the US in 1991 (VCCA Nashville) so memorable. Rest easy dude, there surely must be something worthy for you to drive where you are now.

Dear Pat,
The sad news of Gary's passing reached us down here in Texas. We all miss him very much but are so fortunate to have known him. It was such a pleasure to visit with him and you during the VCCA Anniversary meet in Grand Junction this past July. He was a gentleman and a friend to many in the VCCA.
We pray comfort and peace for you and your family.

Professionally and personally, Gary was one of the good guys. He was ever, not only willing, but eager to help. If you came to Gary with a problem, in the rare instances that he did not have a ready answer, he would point you in the right direction or make it his mission to find the best solution possible. And his interest was in finding that solution, not self aggrandizement. With Gary, the work was the important thing. He went out of his way to give credit where credit was due. Still...

Dear Pat & family,
Our sympathy and love to you all....

Gary will be fondly remembered for his great smile, determination, love of family....and most of all, by us, for his love of "Chevrolets"....and his relentless "help" in time of need...

We will miss that GREAT man that was so talented but "that man upstairs" had an important job for him, we're sure....

Dear Pat and Family,

Gary was viewed as the model researcher by his close colleagues and set an example for all of NASA. (The only thing that would get him was bringing pennies to his poker party). It has been our privilege knowing him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Mrs. Halford and family:
Although I knew Dr. Halford was not well for some time, I still felt my stomach drop when I heard the news. It's a dark feeling when someone who brings so much light into the world takes his turn to leave. Dr. Halford was one of the key reasons my job at TAM was not so much a job as it was a family. All will miss him greatly and I pray that your family eventually finds peace.

Pat and family.........We are sending our sympathy and love. The "Chevy Family" has lost a wonderful, spirited member...leaving an empty place in our hearts that words cannot fully express.
He is not "gone"; but "gone on ahead".........
