Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Harley,

You and your family our in my prayers. We will miss seeing Brother Harley's friendly face when I go back to visit Central. However, I know that he has a crown of righteousness in heaven.

Mr Harley was one of the kindest, gentlest, nicest, God fearing men I have ever met. I had the pleasure of meeting him when my daughter was going to Central Christian Academy. He was always there for my daughter Brandi and I no matter what. I was going through some things at that time, and no matter what it was, he always had the right words to say that made me know just how Godly he was. He was my MENTOR. my daughter and I finally m oved from our house in Aug of 2009, but before we moved we...

I will forever be greatfull for having the opportunity to know My friend and "MENTOR" Mr Harley. My daughter was going to Central Christian Academy at the time we met such a great man. He took us under his wing, and really showed me what a great God Fearing person was. My daughter and I thought the world of him. I had to move from my home in August Of 2009, but before we moved, we ran into him and his "Sweet" wife at "Hardees" one morning. And of course, there he was with open arms as usual...

Mr.Harley has been an example of a caring brother and many years ago my mother was a member of Central, but until Mr. Harley conducted a funeral for my dad's family he had no interest in church but after talking with Mr. Harley he started coming to church and created a path that helped the whole family. Recently my wife and I returned to Central and one of the first people to shake our hand and welcome us was Mr. Harley. He will be greatly missed but I am sure he is very happy with his...

Mr. Harley was our neighbor for several years while we were at Central. He was such a Godly example to all of us. My dad, sisters, and I used to go to the gymnasium and play basketball with Mr. Harley! They were always intense games! He was such hard worker and was always there when you needed him! I can still hear him say "Howdy Neighbor!" I bet that's what he and my dad said when they saw each other in Heaven. They are probably up there singing as only they could!!!

Mr. Harley, wow, where to begin. We had just gotten saved when we went to Central and he took us under his wings right from the start. What a soldier for the Lord! He sure kept me in line! He could say things to me no one else could get away with! :) My fondest memories are of all the Christmas gatherings at my home that were centered around the date I could get the Harley's there! Lee and I weren't raised in a Christian home so without Pastor Robertson and the Harley's I really don't know...

Dear Mrs. Harley and Family, I know without a doubt that my Dad was waiting for Brother Harley when he arrived in eternity and I'm sure they gave each other a big hug and smile. :) Brother Harley was the first one to see me the night of my Dad's viewing and he gave me a big hug. I told him that my Dad thought the world of him and considered him a very close friend. It makes me happy knowing my Dad has his close friend with him in Heaven. I will never forget the kind of Christian man Brother...

Mr. Harley had a genuine love for God & he really cared about people! His sincere words of encouragement meant alot to me each Sunday! He did such a wonderful job honoring my Dad "Starkey Brinkley" at his funeral! Our family will truly miss your Husband & Father! God bless you & your family!
Love, the Brinkley family Dorothy, Stephen, Joseph & Lydia & Stanley Burnell.

Mr. Harley was a gentleman and servant of the Lord and his consistency displayed an "oak of righteousness" for God's glory. He recently sent me a vase full of yellow tulips with a special note this past spring encouraging me, when I should have been encouraging him. That's the kind of man he was; gentle, yet strong. We will miss him so much! Prayers to Mrs. Harley, Linda and Grace. Krista Ryan
