This thought has always been in my heart...to have known Gary and his family for going on 25 years and although lost touch at different times but could always pick up like we never left is a sweet treasure that I will always remember. Our families were best friends since my childhood. We were so close through friendship and we attended the same church where Gary was the Associate Pastor. I believe what I am about to write is a word from God and a sign to all of us that there is life after death. I feel led to share this with as many people as possible. When my Dad, Gary Harper, passed away on Nov. 15, 2004, he had just gotten back in the doorway of his and my Mom's home. He had walked to check the mail, and at the door just inside the entrance, he passed away. It looked as if he died while taking his next step...instantly...as though he walked out of his body and into Heaven....

All of my love to the greatest Dad in the world and the best person I have ever known. He lived a life totally devoted to serving God and he has set a wonderful example for us all.
