Not sure what to say?

Hawk always had a great big smile. His personality and joy for life were infectious. I was new to the airline when I first met him. He took me under his wing and looked after me like a big brother...even though I´m an Auburn guy. He showed me the ropes, talked shop, but also the intricacies of work, military service and family balance. We got to fly together several more times and each time was a joy. Hawk I´m going to miss you immensely my brother. To your family I´m immeasurably sorry for...

We were, as many others, heartbroken to learn of Allen´s passing. A wonderful dad, husband and friend. A self made man who was generous and compassionate. Who loved of his family, friends and life. Allen would light up a room with his quick wit and smile whenever he entered. Truly missed by all whose lives he touched. May God comfort and carry his family. "Gone West" too soon my friend.

I met Allen in pilot training in 1993. He always had a great attitude and was always a good friend. We didn't keep in touch for many years and one day about 15 years ago, I see him at FedEx and it was though we never lost contact. He was a really good man and I will miss our sporadic 15 minute conversations at work or where ever we may run into each other. Godspeed....

I had the privilege of flying many trips with Al on the 727. I remember "Hawk" as a talented professional pilot. And, he was a true friend who always lent an ear and had a positive word to pass along. He will be sorely missed by many. May God bring his family peace and assurance that Al is with Him. Fly West my friend. Godspeed....

My heart is breaking for this wonderful family. Having known Allen since I was 18 I feel such a loss for I have lost a great friend. I know Allen is flying now in Gods glorious blue skies. May peace forever be with my lifelong friend.

Hawk was always smiling and would lift a room by his presence. It was an honor to know and work with him. Godspeed Hawk!

Deepest sympathy I am sorry for your loss. Sending you positive thoughts and prayers.
