Read MoreI remember Gary from Willamette H.S. Gary was one of the nicest guys in our class. I just saw his obituary and I´m sorry I didn´t see it sooner. We traveled in different circles in school. He was so intelligent and I was so into sports but I´m pretty sure everybody knew Gary.

Hello. I won't be at this event, but wanted to share some memories of Gary, Pat and the beginnings of McTavish. Pat and I worked together for a while at Test Systems Strategies Inc. (TSSI) in Beaverton, OR. Pat was the Manager of the Tech writing team and I was Marketing Manager at that time. One day Pat brought in some shortbread she had made. As I am of Scottish descent, I know shortbread and I said 'This is the best shortbread this side of Scotland'..I think that was McTavish's motto...

Gary was a fraternity brother at Linfield. He was a. wonderful human and loyal Brother. I respect him greatly.

So sorry to lose our good pal Gary. He was one of a tight group of Linfield College buddies and Pi Kappa Alpha brothers - graduating in 1974 (GH is top left). He was always quick with a smile and a laugh and could dish it out as well as take it. He will be missed.
