Mr. Hock was always a role model for me. I grew up with his sons Tanner and Dax, and I learned a lot from him just observing his business, the way he handled himself, and the way he was with his family. I began a career in commercial real estate in most part because of growing up around the Hock family. I have some of my best memories on family trips and at his house in Durham. Gary was one of the most amazing men i have had the honor to know. Generous, loving, caring, thoughtful and strong. He taught me so much over the past 30 years and i will forever be in his debt.
My prayers go out to the Hock Family and especially to Lyn and the families of Dax and Tanner. God Bless you all.

Gary will be missed my many. He was a generous supporter of the Cancer Center of Santa Barbara and the patients we serve. Our condolences to Lyn and the extended Hock family.
