Not sure what to say?

Gary Holder was a gifted and effective communicator of the Gospel. The Lord used Gary to revive two churches I pastored: First Baptist of Wolfe City, Texas and First Baptist of Jacksonville, Arkansas. I cherish many wonderful memories of him and am blessed by his friendship. Marck Gibson, D Min

Im reading this on a rainy saturday night during Thanksgiving weekend 2020...Gary Holder was very close to the Von Erich wrestling family during the mid 1980s.

Karen, I was so saddened to hear the news. I have thought of you both and the girls often since you left Tower Grove Baptist...So many memories. My prayers are with all of you in this time of grief.

Dear Karen and girls,
I was so very saddened to hear of Gary's sudden passing. Gary was someone I truly liked and admired. I was so very impressed with his love for the Lord and his disarming and sincere manner. I don't think you know this, but Gary was preaching a revival at MacArthur Blvd. Baptist Church when my son, Andrew, prayed to received Christ. Gary has always had a special place in my heart because of that. He had a real gift for presenting the gospel with a power and clarity...

Dear Karen,
Many years have passed since your ministry at Hyland, but you and Gary were very special to us and we love you. Gary and I shared many good times and experiences in the bus ministry. Because of his unrelenting faith and good humor, those experiences are still very vivid. Gary is receiving his rewards right now as we try to express our sorrow to you. Gary has touched many lives and his memory will continue to live on. Please accept our condolences on your loss.

Karen, Kelly, & Lindy

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Gary will always have a special place in my heart for everything he has always done. He was a special person to lots of people.

God bless and take care.

WHAT A BLESSING IT HAS BEEN OVER THE 30 YEARS THAT I HAVE KNOWN GARY TO HAVE BEEN TOUCHED BY HIS LIFE. WHAT CAN BE SAID MORE ABOUT HIM THAN TO SAY "WHAT A CHARACTER"!!! GARY'S LOVE FOR LIFE AND HIS LOVE FOR PEOPLE WAS ALWAYS VERY CONTAGIOUS. GARY HAD SUCH A PROFOUND IMPACT ON MY LIFE AS WELL AS OTHERS. GOD ONLY KNOWS THE AMOUNT OF PEOPLE THAT HAVE BEEN TOUCHED BY THE MINISTRY OF GARY HOLDER.
ON A MORE PERSONAL NOTE, IT WAS MY PLEASURE TO HAVE HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO BE IN HIS YOUTH...
