Gary P. Horowitz Ph.D.

Horowitz Gary P., Ph.D., age 63, suddenly on February 17, 2014 of Broomall, PA. Son of the late Janice Horowitz Posner and Sidney Horowitz. Survived by his wife of 34 years, Patricia Green; his sons, Jeffrey and Daniel Horowitz. His sisters; Beth Lunsford and Jerri Toffler, also several loving nieces and a nephews. He leaves behind many friends and colleagues. Gary grew up in Orlando, Florida and graduated from Colonial High School. He received a B.A. Degree from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia and a Ph.D. in psychobiology from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. He relocated to the Philadelphia area in 1982. For the past several months Gary worked at Teva Pharmaceuticals in Frazer, PA. Prior to that, he worked for many years at AstraZeneca in Wilmington, DE. His area of expertise is drug regulatory affairs. He was a devoted husband, father and friend and will be greatly missed. Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing on Friday, 11 to 11:45 AM, followed by his Funeral Service 12 Noon in the Main Chapel of the D'Anjolell Memorial Home of Broomall, 2811 West Chester Pike, Broomall, PA 19008. Interment SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
