Not sure what to say?

It was a pleasure to know Gary. He alway treated everyone with respect and showed that their views were important. Sue, my condolences to you and the family. It is up to use to keep his memory alive.

Please know my thoughts are with your family during this time. Gary was always upbeat and had a great sense of humor. His eyes always held a twinkle of happiness. I will always be thankful to Sue and Gary for their part in hiring me at the City of Arlington.

It's strange now to come home to my mom's and find Gary not there. For the last 26 years he was not only a great husband to my mother, but a second father to me, Brent and Melanie. The world is a poorer place without him.

It was always a pleasure working with Gary. He took care of the human resources needs for the City of Arlington for many years. Gary always had the greatest sense of humor and mischievous sparkle in his eyes. I was sad to learn of his passing and have Sue and the family in my thoughts and prayers.

Gary, Thank you for teaching me many things and giving Kathi her first job in the business world. I know you are taking care of horses right now or diving your John Deere tractor. Thank you for spending 26 wonderful years with my mom. We all will miss you. Brent

Gary was a good friend to all of us in City Government (Arlington). We always joked with him about, be careful when Gary invites you (an employee)to lunch :-)He generally brought humor to the job, but was very proficent in the work that he did.
My best to you Sue and hope that all the days ahead will be easier for you.

Past Police Officer in Arlington

I had the pleasure of knowing Gary when he and Sue worked for the City of Arlington. No matter the task - he always dealt with our personnel matters in a pleasant manner. We often joked to beware if he invited you to lunch. Many times if he left his briefcase unattended we would add something to it, a funny sticker that he wouldn't find for some time or a silly pamphlet. As you can tell he will remain fondly in my heart. Take care and know that my thoughts are with Sue and the family.
