Debbie, Amy and Andrew, My condolences on the loss of your husband and father. Like some of the other folks who have added their thoughts to this page of memories, I worked with Gary at Princeton. My memories of Gary were not just of the workplace, but of his professed and spoken love of his family. He was incredibly proud of each of you; you were his world. I hope it is of some comfort that so many people respected and cared for Gary. I am numbered among them. Jon

Gary was indeed a very good man. I was hired by Gary in 2010 as a supervisor. He was what I would call a dedicated manager. I retired in 2022 and had nothing but good things to say. Mark, Rick and Gary were some of the hardest working managers on campus. I was under Gary's supervision, and I use to tease him about how he was making minimum wages with the hours he was clocking in from Monday to Sunday (yes, he was on campus assisting EVERY DAY).
