Gary John Sosanko, 62, of West Mifflin, died unexpectedly Saturday, September 26, 2015 in Forbes Regional Hospital, Monroeville. He was born March 25, 1953 in New Eagle, the son of John and Margaret Wassel Sosanko who survives and resides in Monongahela.
Gary loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed gardening, animals, watching sports and traveling. One of his favorite places to visit was Berkeley Springs.
Beloved husband of Elizabeth Greiner Sosanko with whom he celebrated twenty two years of marriage on January 19, 2015; beloved father of Melissa Sosanko and wife Amy of Pittsburgh, Cary Morris and husband Matthew of South Park, Amanda and Jessica Sosanko, both at home; beloved grandfather of Nicholas and Ashlyn Morris.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 from 2-8 PM in the Frye Funeral Home, Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela, where funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at 1:00 PM with the Rev. James Ragan officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Western PA Chapter, 501 Martindale Street, Suite 670, Pittsburgh, PA 15212 (www.jdrf.org).
