Not sure what to say?

Someone told me of Gary's passing and I was very sad to hear it. I knew Gary through the Friends of NRA committee and was proud to serve alongside him. He was a charismatic chairman and we had a lot of fun putting on the banquets and fun-shoots. We also swapped hunting tales - fun times. May God give assurance to his family as they struggle to move on without him. He won't be forgotten, that's for sure.

Gary, was a kind man. But more to me he was respected. I looked up to him. He taught me things, when he didn't know he was even teaching. He could be a boss and a friend. He could be family. He took us youngsters under his wing and made us better. And I am thankful for knowing him. When I see people in his position Gary is the yardstick I measure them by. My heart saddens. Prayers with you all.

Gary was a great man and a great boss to work with. Before Gary retired I would always go to his office and talk to him about guns deer hunting. The best memories I have are the email he sent me after I showed him pictures of the biggest buck I ever shot. And the last memory I remember is the pictures of all the deer he raised and of his favorite Bucky. You will be sadly missed and never be forgotten.
