Gary Jaggi North Ogden – Gary Walter Jaggi died December 17, 2009 at McKay-Dee Hospital. He was born March 11, 1942 in Logan, Utah the son of Walter G. and Catherine Maughan Jaggi. He graduated from Box Elder High and Utah State university with an MBA. Gary married Emma Lee Smith on Nov. 27, 1963 in Logan; they were later divorced. He married Marilyn Newby Rassmussen on April 25, 1980 in Salt Lake City; they later divorced. Gary married Marilyn Roos Dutson on Nov. 20, 1984 in Ogden. He was a member of the North Ogden 7th Ward where he served in the Priesthood Quorum, was a Sunday School teacher and was a Scout Leader for special needs kids. He served a LDS Mission to England and an Ogden Inner City Mission. Gary worked in Real Estate and sales in the Life/Annuities and Reverse Mortgages business. He was a member of the Kiwanis Club and enjoyed sports and politics. Gary is survived by his wife Marilyn; children Wade Jaggi of Woodburn, OR, Diane Jaggi Berkey (Cliff) of Richfield, WA, Lara Jackson (Clint) of Meridian, ID, Darren Jaggi (Sarah) of Seattle, WA; step-children Lynette Morehead (Steve) of So. Salem, OR, Susan Wagstaff (Larry) of Evanston, WY, John W. Dutson of No. Ogden, Jill Swan of Aloha, OR; 11 grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren and 11 step-great-grandchildren. Also survived by 4 brothers and 2 sisters, Allen M. Jaggi (Jane) of Lyman, WY, Richard Jaggi (Laraine) of Layton, Ralph Jaggi (Katy), Ruth Nicholas (Kay) of Wellsville, UT, Eileen Griffin of Roswell, NM and Mark N. Jaggi (Heidi) of Lyman, WY. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 21, 2009 at the No. Ogden 7th Ward Chapel, 205 E. Elberta Drive, No. Ogden. Friends may call on Sunday, Dec. 20th from 6 to 8 p.m. at Myers Mortuary of Ogden, 845 Washington Blvd. and at the Chapel on Monday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Interment will be in the Ben Lomond Cemetery. Those wishing to do so may make donations to the Perpetual Education Fund or Primary Children’s Hospital in lieu of flowers.
