Gary D. Langolf

I had the pleasure of studying under and working with Dr. Langolf during my master’s work at Michigan and always found him to be a true inspiration. He had a highly unique set of qualities which set him apart from the crowd – highly intelligent, but never aloof; intensely honest, but always reasonable; highly private, but always personable and approachable. On behalf of the faculty and staff of the University of Michigan Center for Ergonomics, I would like to extend our condolences to Gary’s loved ones. Although it has been a long time since Gary was in the Center, there are several of us who have been here long enough to know Gary and to have fond memories of working with him. We were all shocked and saddened to learn he was gone.
