Gary Lehmann

I was on Gary's Hamma Hamma fire crew in 1977. Gary was so loved by his crew. His smile and his belly laughs are things I remember. I remember the spaghetti he made from a chicken-in-the-woods mushroom he picked. He was a great man. I have lots of pictures of Gary in his fire shirt.

I remember Gary well from several classes we shared in Junior High and High School. Condolences to the whole family.

Gary was a kind and wonderful person. We will miss him.

I worked with Gary at Fort Lewis from when he started there until I retired in 2007. I worked in forest management and Gary in timber sales contracts. We were always able to work issues out on our own. I don't remember a single time we didn't resolve things. A great guy to know and to work with. So glad our friendship continued even after retirement. I will miss him always...
