Gary N. Lehto

This reminder brings back memories. I do remember Gary. He was like a brother to me. I miss him.

I worked with Gary from 2004 until his retirement in 2012. I am really sorry to hear about his passing. He was a good guy.

Gary was my roommate during our junior year abroad in Vienna. What a year that was! We explored the world and Gary became a close friend and I will miss him dearly. I have photos and the details of our many adventures. That year in Europe changed us all but in a way that helped us grow to accept all the possibilities in front of us.

I was Commissioner at the Bureau of Labor when Gary retired. I was sorry to lose him then and share in everyone's sadness that we've lost him now. Gary was a smart, humble, kind...and strong person who gave much to this world. It was a privilege knowing him.

My heartfelt condolences to Gary's family. He was a warm, caring and patient colleague and no doubt, he lived a life of integrity and generosity; he will be missed by all whose lives he touched.

Melinda, I worked with Gary for a number of years. He hired me after being laid off for 1 1/2 years during the last recession. He was truly a nice man, a gentleman, a pleasure to work with. You have my deepest sympathy.
