Not sure what to say?

Not a day goes by that I don't think about Gary. He went out into the woods and took a picture of some flowers, had it framed and wrote a poem on the back for me, for my birthday in 1974. It hangs by my front door and I see it several times a day, and it makes me smile, just as thinking about Gary does. He was such a good man, like they say, he was the man his dogs thought he was.

Gary moved into my neighbourhood in 1969. He was a funny, happy and wonderful man, loved by everyone in the neighbourhood, and he was my good friend. I have so many fond memories of time spent with him and I will miss him immensely. My heart is broken.

I worked with Gary for years. He loved his sports, took rookies hunting for their first time after teaching them about safety & courtesy in the hunting field. He assisted on cases in the OR for hours. And he loved his newspaper! Take care Gary. RIP. And Thank you.

Gary scrubbed on many of my orthopedic cases at Borgess and he was a likable, efficient, knowledgeable and professional nurse. RIP, Gary.

May God grant his family comfort in time of their loss. God has mercy for all. He enjoyed his family and the sports activities as well as his outdoors. We worked together many years. Peace.

May mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance. (Jude 2)

I will always remember Gary as a true lover of all outdoors and good dogs, of fine guns and of fine fishing tackle. Gary was a true sportsman and gentleman in the field and on the stream, and a fine and generous companion. He took these things seriously as though there was no greater pursuit in life, and yet what he liked to talk about most was his family. That is what was really most important to him. Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord......

I was sorry to hear about Garrys passing. We worked together many years in the operating room at Borgess. May God bless Gary and his family.
