Gary Kermit Lien

Gary was my high school classmate and also at SDSU. My sympathy to his family.

Gary was a very dear friend of at least 46 years. We met through our common addiction, antique lighting. Gary at the time was heavy into Alladin lamps and I was into earlier Victorian lighting. This worked great for us both. Gary would buy some Victorian lighting and trade or sell to me and I would trade or sell any Alladin lamps to him. Gary (Gentle Giant as I referred to him) was a very kind & funloving person as I knew him. I am very sad of his passing but know he is with Bunny & his family before him. He & Bunny sat on our deck in the summer enjoying the weather & family stories & of course "lamptalk." His eyes would light up (no pun involved) on his favorite subject & hobby. I will miss him.

Sorry to hear of Gary's passing. Gary touched many people in many different walks of life, from his personal experiences, antique lighting, travel, humor, and of course enjoying a good meal with friends new and old. We have lost a truly great "Lamper" friend who possessed a wealth of knowledge. Condolences to his children from Val and myself.
