Gary Little Obituary
Gary L. Little, 64, of Louisville, Ill., passed away peacefully on Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013.
Gary was a retired air transportation supervisor for the United States Air Force and served during the Desert Storm conflict. He earned many awards during his years of service including the AF Commendation Medal, AF Outstanding Unit Award, AF Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, AF Overseas Long Tour Ribbon; AF Longevity Service Award Ribbon, NCO Professional Military Education Grad Ribbon, and Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon. Gary was also a proud member of the Belleville Masons Lodge No. 504. Gary worked extensively with the Disabled Veterans Association.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard Little and Elsie, nee McMahan, Schadegg.
Surviving are his wife, Sugako "Sue," nee Fushiki, Little; sons, Clay (Christine) Little of Lindenhurst, Ill., and Jerry Little of Hackettstown, N.J.; daughters, Anne Marie (Norman) Carroll of Daytona Beach, Fla., and Leslie (Ryan) Singleton of Belleville, Ill.; and grandchildren, Naomi Little, Katelin Little, Logan Singleton, Alyssa Zerres, Dakota, Austin and Dylan Little; and mother-in-law, Kayoko Fushiki of Japan.
The family wishes to express deep appreciation for the loving care offered to Gary and Sue by the Lincoln Land Hospice Program nurses and volunteers.
Memorials are appreciated to either The Disabled Veterans Association or to the volunteer group from Lincoln Land Hospice.
Visitation: Friends may call from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2013, at Lake View Funeral Home, 5000 N. Illinois St., Fairview Heights, Ill. 62208.
Funeral: Service at noon Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2013, at the funeral home.
