Dear old friend, Rick, and family - Babe and I send our condolences to you! I never really knew your brother, but sure know the pain of loss. May you be comforted by the only One who can truly comfort beyond understanding - Jesus!

The memory of Gary's voice at Pat Babcock's establishment on Broadway always makes me laugh. He would yell "The NEW Joe O'Connor" whenever I made a good shot (not too often).
After Marty's funeral Gary & Rick were walking down Flint Street in the direction of Bunny Run. It could have been 1960 again. Nothing could be more natural than seeing Gary & Rick uptown together.
So many of the old gang is gone now. It reminds me of the country song by George Jones "Whose going to fill...

Cathy - I wish I had known when the funeral was. I certainly wanted to attend. I know I didn't know Gary for very long, but it was always nice to talk to him. He always seemed happy with his big smile. I will miss him. God bless you.

Cathy, there are no words to express how sorry I am. I have fond memories of you both being great friends to my Dad. I bet they're both enjoying a great round of shuffleboard up in heaven right now! So sorry for the loss of Gary. We grew up on the same street and he was a caring and friendly person.
