Not sure what to say?

Gary Shaw was a great Texan.
And a great American ...

He was a good man and
a good friend of Truth in all things.

No more need be said by me.

In 2010, having decided to see the country that I had never really seen before. I set off on a coast to coast trip in a rental car. Six days later I found myself in Dallas to see all the sights. My last day in Dallas I was taking my last pictures of Dealy Plaza and who do I meet but Gary Mack in the car park behind the Grassy Knowl. Mr. Mack was so very gracious to me!!! His work day was over I know, but he engaged me in conversation and asked where I made my home. My answer was Ridgewood,...

Gary was a professional with exceptional knowledge of the Kennedy Assassination in 1963. I always wanted to here Gary's take on any aspect of the assassination. I was stunned when I read this article telling of his death. The best to his family. We've lost a great authority on the JFK assassination and a friend and defender of the truth. Gary dedicated his life to the principle of "Tell us the truth."

My sincere condolences to Gary's family and work colleagues. I had the great honour of knowing him for over 30 years, and he will always be remembered as a true researcher, historian and above all, a gentleman..

Rest in peace, my friend, and thanks for everything.

IT WAS MY GOOD FORTUNE TO KNOW GARY MACK,FIRST MEETING HIM MANY YEARS AGO AS WE LOOKED AT ASSASSINATION FOOTAGE LOCATED IN THE BASEMENT OF THE BOOK DEPOSITORY....GARY APPEARED AS A GUEST ON MY RADIO SHOW NUMEROUS TIMES. OF COURSE THERE WERE TIMES WE DIDNT TOTALLY AGREE ON VARIOUS JFK THOUGHTS BUT HE WAS ALWAYS FRIENDLY AND A PLEASURE TO TALK TO...WHEN RESEARCHER DAVE PERRY CALLED ME EARLY THAT MORNING WITH THE NEWS I REALIZED ANOTHER ERA HAD GONE BYE. MY SYMPATHY TO KARIN AND THE FAMILY

I grew up watching gary on tv and listened to his every word a great loss to all who knew and admired him
rest in peace

so sorry to hear about gary a good honest researcher alan from ireland

A good and dear friend no matter what side of the aisle you sat in re: JFK event. Will be sorely missed as a decent and helpful human being first.

Gary, I realized today would have been your 69th birthday. You are so greatly missed. We owe a lot to you. What a great man, a kind man. You worked tirelessly, never letting us know what kind of pain you were in, or that you were dying. It was always about others, and how you could enrich their knowledge. There will never be anyone else who can do what you did. No one can fill your shoes. I still can't believe you're gone.
