Merry, Wes, Garrett, Erich, Bryan:

I know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love. Leo Buscaglia

Celebrating a life well lived. We will cherish the memories forever.

To the Wes Majors Family and League of Friends and Fellows: I met Wes on the "Campi" at Lincoln University, in the Fall of 1968... Class of 7T2... under the "Rabble Bench" Tree! He had a big ol' smile, roaring laugh and lots of trash talk flowing. The last time I was blessed to see Wes on campus was for the 7T2 class reunion, a couple of years back... same smile, same laughter, same trash talking Wes! He was truly a beautiful brother, intelligent and wise, spiritual and fun! A walking party!...

Family,
My Lincoln days with West were the best that they could be. He was always generous and talkative even when I didn't know what to say. West had words of encouragement. Family, You know that he loved and was loved. Stay strong in the Lord as he is near-always.
Lee (Boston)-Class of "72"

To the Majors Family:
My sincerest condolences on Wes' passing. Although I attended his service on May 15th, I did not get to express to you personally, my feelings about Wes.

He was "everyman's friend", attested to by the tributes and turnout for his "celebration of life". Wes had a personality bigger than life itself and the capacity to become your friend shortly after meeting him. And once you made the connection, you were hooked.

I met Wes in June 1968 when we both were...

God bless the Majors family. It has been some time since I had seen Wes. We shared a good vibe from my days as Regional Director for Groove, hangin' at the claves and different events. He had a beautiful spirit and an infectious glow. Upbeat and positive. One day last Fall, out of the blue, I thought of him and gave him a call. It was like it had not been years since we talked! I'm glad that we shared those moments!
