Read MoreI am his cousin, aka Ralph's daughter . It is 2022 and I have just learned that Gary is gone. The last I spent time with him was 1998. We shared a movie and a beer. and he offered me, his female cousin, a cigar. The cigar I declined. My mother Maxine was next door visiting her sister, his mother. My condolences to the families, John's and Harvey's.

I'm sorry to hear of Gary's unexpected passing. He caught me my first and only steelhead on the McKenzie. He was a very nice guy and one of the best fishermen that I have ever know. RIP Gary

May God bless Gary's family with comfort and peace. My daughters and I enjoyed two or three fishing trips with him and he was always a cheerful and kind guide. I also appreciated his faith in Christ.

I was so saddened to hear of Gary's death! He had been taking care of my yard for years. Not only was he very good at it, he was friendly and we had many good talks. Wednesdays on Potter St. won't be the same, as he'd take care of a number of yards in the neighborhood. Sincere condolences to all his family and friends!

I just read the announcement about Gary passing and hope you are all doing okay. I will miss Gary. I was lucky enough to have been his friend. His smile and positive energy will never be forgotten. He will always be in my thoughts as I cast a spinner from the jetty or float the McKenzie River. He will be missed.
