Not sure what to say?

CAPT Gary was a fine gentleman, and a privilege to work for. He was my commanding officer when I was stationed on the East coast. My sympathies, condolences, and prayers to the fine family of this great and decent man.

Just learned of Gary's passing. I had the pleasure on meeting him and working for him when I came to SPCC in 1985. A true gentleman, wonderful mentor and example. He shaped the rest of my Navy career and I thank him for that. My sympathies to Donna and the family.

Donna,
Sending you my sincere sympathy on the loss of your husband. I hope you and your daughters have many special memories to sustain you.
Wishing you peace after the long journey through life that you shared.

Gary was the head of the Contracting Office at the Naval Supply Center and my primary client when I first started working there for the Office of the General Counsel of the Navy. He was a skilled professional and a fine Naval Officer. He was a pleasure to work with As a member of the wardroom he made my wife, Sarah, and I feel very welcome as part of a Navy community.
Our professional paths crossed every now and then throughout our careers and it was always a pleasure to catch up with...
