Read MoreI am so sorry to hear of Gary's passing. Gary was my principal my first year of teaching at North Hills Elementary School in 1969. He was always very supportive and helpful to me, a first year teacher, who didn't always know what I was doing. Later I had the opportunity to work with him when he was the supportive math teacher. Praying the family finds peace in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Me. McCubbin was always so nice & kind! He knew may of the students names-even those of us who werent in trouble! Loved when I ran into him later in life at WalMart - he always had positive things to say. Rest In Peace.

Had lots of fun when he came to market to our stand to get the special of the day. One day I noticed a pickle pin on his hat & he said he thought he had more & would bring us one next week. Well he didn't have anymore but he did bring us Heinz ketchup bottle pins (see photo) we both pinned it on our hats. RIP Gary you are missed!
