Not sure what to say?

One of my memories of Gary and I sitting in the front row, directly across from "goodies" table. We both loved the sweets. I was always aware of the attention that was given, when Gary spoke in his gentle, kind manner. Love to his beautiful family. The memories will be held strong.

Dear Lynn, Karen and all,
My heart is with you at this sad time. Gary's light in the world continues to shine in his family, in his work, in his impact on students and colleagues. We should all learn from his soft-spoken approach to life and his keen, if understated, wit.
Un abrazo a todos,

Dear Lynn and Family,

I have such wonderful memories of Gary as Humanities Division Head at BCC during the '80s. He still reigns as "model administrator" in my memory because of combining administrative savvy with extraordinary interpersonal skills. Gary made me feel at ease and welcomed discussion. He created a "team" environment in our Division and was above all, a kind, fair and ethical administrator, as well as a gifted instructor. He also had a unique sense of humor and a big...

My heartfelt condolences to Gary's family.
I was a student of Gary's in the early seventies at Bellevue Community College, and as a returning student I felt a little incecure, if I could still cut student life.

He was a wonderful human being.

Dear Lynn and Family,

I was so privileged to have had the opportunity to work With Gary. He was a trusted ally and friend, who contributed his all to improving lives. It was wonderful to celebrate his life and to have had the opportunity to tell him just how important he was to us all. Part of his legacy is his loving family. You all are The Best.

Was a colleague of his for more years than I can count.
He was bright, fair, and a hard worker who did his homework.
RIP

Although I only met Gar a few times, he made a lasting impression and I know he will be missed. To Lynn and the rest of the family, may your memories keep Gar close to your hearts during this difficult time. God bless
Suzanne

What will I miss...? I will miss all of him - his warmth, his irreverent sense of humor, his love of me, his unbelievable wisdom, his Wightman grin and cackle, his acceptance of what is without rancor, his amazing grace through the worst of hard times, watching him eat pie and ice cream, playing Scrabble with him, playing tennis with him and enjoying our competitive giggles, his big grin when greeting me with "Hi Mar", the total essence of him - good nature, principled, fair minded, his...
