Not sure what to say?

Jane: Loved having Gary as my Florida Southern basketball teammate. No one tried harder or had a better attitude than Gary. Very sorry for your loss.

We were very sorry to hear of Gary's passing. Please know your family is in our prayers. My wife has been sick for the past two days and I don't feel comfortable leaving her at this time.

God has another angel in heaven. Gary you will be missed.

Jane,
I am so sorry for your loss. I got to know Gary while at Green Hill, he was 3 years behind me, and I saw his BB skills start to develope way back then. The last couple of years, Gary and I sat next to one another at the alumni and had good visits both times.
As I won't be able to get to the viewing or service, I just wanted to convey my "Deepest Sympathies" to you and your family. Gary was one of the good guys!

Gary you will be missed. God got an amazing new angel.

Jane
It was very sad to learn of Gary's passing. My deepest sympathy to you and your family. Gary and I played basketball together at Florida Southern, I was a senior and he was a sophomore, and I'll never forget the night he scored 38 points against Florida State. A few guys have topped that number over the years, but none did it against a team that had a future NBA Hall of Fame player (Dave Cowens) roaming the lane. That effort has to be one of the top performances in Florida Southern...

Jane,
My husband, Don, and I were friends with Gary at Florida Southern. He was a friend to all and will especially be remembered for always talking about his sweetheart, Jane, back home. How wonderful that you had many years together. We know he will be missed and never forgotten.

Jane,
I remember Gary from Otterbein High School; he was one of the friendliest guys in school, and a valuable basketball player. I am sorry for your loss.

Dear Jane....As I wrote earlier, Gary was most certainly a special person. We became life long friends at our Theta Chi Fraternity and Florida Southern Basketball Reunions. Those future events will not be the same without him. You and your family are in my wife's and my prayers.
