Not sure what to say?

In 1990 I searched for a priest who would bless my marriage to my second husband. Gary was recommended. He said he would do it if my fiancé and I attended his masses at The Church of the Four Winds. As a social worker who worked in hospice with AIDS patients, I saw that this was another of his ministry's along with feeding the hungry, visiting prisoners, and many others who were in need of a guiding and generous hand. Thank you Gary. Dan and I are still happily married, ...in case you...

Fr. Gary was a bright and shining light to so many.

Oh how I miss you, never far from my thoughts, your memory always brings a smile to my face. I am forever changed for having known you and thankful for all the inspiring conversations and wonderful moments. Father Gary please pray for us.

You will always be remembered by me. You were the best priest I knew and quite an inspiration! ❤

Too long since I've seen you and yet your smile and spirit are unmistakable. Thank you, Gary, for your faith, humility, gratitude and compassion. I wish Cathie were here to share the sorrowful news of your passing. We are both so fortunate to have had you in our lives.

Father Gary,
I first met you at a retreat at St. Mary's Retreat House in Oxford, Mi.
You touched my soul during that weekend.
When my husband was dying of prostate cancer, and we contacted Hospice, you were his chaplain, sitting next to his bed, holding his hand and praying with him. Joe loved you so much and felt comfortable with you. You brought him a Holy card each and every time you visited. He read each card before having breakfast in the morning.
You had a prison...

Gary McInnis is truly the most amazing man I ever met. The gifts God gave him always seemed boundless. His beautiful voice and his incredible, all-accepting presence and charisma brought so, so many closer to Jesus.
Gary was always so humble about his countless accomplishments as a man and as a priest. He never cared about taking credit for his extraordinary gifts to the world. But then, what Saints do?
Gary, I will honor you every single day of my life, and I thank God that I...

Dear Father Gary, I only saw you once, in me home in Italy, but i will ne era forge t you, your joy and your happiness.
God will is inperscrutable. I learn this terrible thing just the day before i would surprise you at your own home. Thank you for your songs. I hear them alwayswith love. Your far far away cousin Domenico (Luisa Pirozzi's nephew).

Father Gary married my husband and I. Several people afterwards commented on what a wonderful ceremony it was. He will be missed.
