Gary Mac, Gone on to Glory, but NEVER Forgotten!!

My deepest sympathies and condolences go out to Donna, Joe and the entire McPherson Famm. Gary and i graduated from Bonds-Wilson, but our friendship grew here in Wash., DC where we lived, worked , and Lived. I will definitely miss his sense of humor, good friendship and his turkey wings that he was so proud to serve st the many Church functions he hosted. Gary was devoutly devoted to his church Greater Works Chtistian Chirch. Sleep in peace brother... until we meet again. Jake

Gary Lavern McPherson's earthly legacy will stay with us. "Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep." --- Romans 12:15

To the family and friends of Gary I send my heartfelt sympathy, love and respect. I had the pleasure of being a longtime girlfriend of Deacon. There isnt enough space for me to write about this God-fearing man of God....He showed me heights of beauty, splendor in a grand way!! His last days were enriched with love, good food, laughter, stories about South Carolina and his Dear Mother!! We prayed, and he went out walking tall with his bible!!! AMEN RIP SWEETHEART!!!!

He was a good guy and had the ability to make one laugh. Rest in Peace, dear friend.❤❤

To the Family of Gary I worked at the Charleston Naval Shipyard in Bldg. #7 , where Gary worked as well. He was very friendly and pleasant to work with. I remembered him as very soft spoken. A gentle giant. I was so sorry to hear of his death. Weeping may endureth for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. GOD will heal your broken hearts. Carolyn Gilbert

Our sincere sympathy is extended to the McPherson family. My late mother-in-law, Mrs. Dorothy P. Mack taught Gary at Bonds-Wilson High. I met him at SCSU, we were proud Bulldogs. He was such a kind and joyful person, most often with a smile on his face. He will be missed. May God grant the family strength, faith and peace in knowing he is with the risen and holy Christ. Praying for the McPhersons. Blessings from the Mack Family

We wish to pass on our deepest sympathy in the loss of your loved one. Gary was my band mate at Bonds-Wilson and on the Marching 101 at S C State College. I remember him as an excellent Baritone Horn Player. May the ever-present Spirit of Christ comfort and keep you during this time of bereavement. Rev & Mrs. Miller and Family

To the McPherson Family- Please accept my dearest condolences. Gary was a great special friend, whom I will miss. "RIP" Love You,
