Today I went to the lake and released two royal blue balloons in your memory. One took off quickly and was soon lost in the beautiful blue skies. The other seemed to stay near for a few seconds before rising. I watched it sail until it met the clouds in the distance. White puffy clouds that enveloped that royal blue balloon filled with two pictures and a message. More clouds moved in as if to surround you and let you know that someone still cared. I never saw that balloon again, but...

Sometimes we have someone in our life that we hold very near and dear to our heart and even the passage of time does not take that away. When you realize they are gone, you then feel a sadness in your heart. Gary I wish I could have talked to you just one more time, but that will never be. On this, the sixth anniversary of your passing, I want you to know I am thinking of you and may you rest in peace. M.A.
