Gary was on the School Board when I was guidance counselor for Martin High School in the 1970s He was very smart and was always very nice. I always enjoyed talking and working with him. I am sure he´ is missed by many Don Rewa.

Gary was a special person, I knew him when he worked at NWL. Always a gentleman, I left my purse at a clients house once, that was near where he lived. I called him and he retrieved it for me and brought it to me the next day! Memory Eternal Gary, you will be missed.

To Gary's Family and Friends, I am saddened to learn of Gary's passing. While I was not a personal acquaintance, my brother Duane was a classmate of his in Schoolcraft. My father was a member of the deer hunting party along with Howard, and they were part of a deer hunting party every fall for many years in the Upper Peninsula. Howard became a real estate agent in his later years, and my wife and I purchased our current home through Howard. He and his wife Christine even loaned us money...

To Gary's family and many friends, I was saddened to learn of Gary's passing. Though I wasn't close to Gary, my brother, Duane was a classmate of his at Schoolcraft, and I fondly remember his parents, Howard and Christine. I recall shopping at Melvin's Hardware in years past, and when my wife and I were searching for our first home, Howard was then a realty agent and we purhased our home in Portage through his assistance, and also he loaned us money to help with our down payment.
