Gary talking at ASM's 2012 Zay Jeffries Night

To the Michal family,
So sorry to hear of the loss of your beloved husband and father. We will always treasure the times sitting with you guys at the track meets cheering on the boys and Gary was always ready with his stop watch. We hope that you will find peace at this time of sorrow and joy in the memories of such a wonderful man. With deepest sympathy. Jeff, Donna and Brad Herynk

I will remember Gary as a wonderful and kind colleague and as a man of integrity.

My sympathies to his family. I pray you will find comfort and peace in your memories of Gary.

I remember Gary fondly and will miss him as a colleague and friend.

Just wonderful memories of Gary will remain with us forever. Gary was able to touch our life in more than one way. Thanks for sharing Gary with us.

Gary was a very special man. He gave freely of himself to all around him. He was a mentor and a boss, but mostly he was a great friend. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him, but his legacy will continue for decades.

I think that the thing I will remember most about him is his dry sense of humor. He often brought a smile to my face when I talked with him.

Our deepest sympathies to Maureen and family. We remember having such wonderful times with during our Lakeside Retreats while you were members at Parma Lutheran. May God be with you during this time. God Bless
