Not sure what to say?

My brother Brooke, who was a good friend of his at Hoover and Iowa, informed me of Gary's passing. Even though I have not seen Gary for so many years, thinking about him brought back so many wonderful memories of remembering him on Manor Lane and being a very normal younger brother to Marcia. The Moritz family is in my prayers as well as in the prayers of our Prayer Warrior Group. May Gary be remembered with smiles on all the faces of those who knew him!! God bless you all.

Suzy and family, I just learned of Gary's passing. As you know, Gary was one of my closest childhood friends. From our paper routes and playing tennis ball and football in the street on Manor Lane, I knew firsthand what a great person he was. Please know that you are in my thoughts.

Sarah,

Just wanted you to know that I am thinking about you during this time of loss. I think about my former students often, and realize that even though we haven't been in touch, you are still an important part of my past. Death is for the living, so Blessings on you, Sarah. Ron Reighard (7th grade social studies)

My experience with Gary was brief as he was exiting a board that I was joining (WDMCS Foundation) but it did not take long to know he was an outstanding person. I have always remembered his kind nature, he is one of those people that you simply remember in a good way. I've been aware of his fight with cancer and am so sorry to hear of his passing. God bless his family and friends.

I am deeply saddened by the passing of Gary. He was truly a very nice and genuine person. My deepest and sincerest condolences to his family. May his memory be eternal

Suzy and family, I am so sorry to hear of Gary's passing. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Having lost Ivan nine years ago I understand your pain and the grief you are feeling. Please don't hesitate to call or email if or when you need someone who understands to talk with. If I can say anything, hold tight to all your wonderful moments with Gary. Hold them tight in your heart. They will help you when you feel the darkest. Know that you are not alone and that many people...

Susan,
101st ST. has lost one of its most loved residents. Gary's smile and cheery personality will be missed more than words can express. May God be with you and the family and guide you through this very difficult time.

Susie-

Montigne notified me of Gary's death. He was the most decent and ethical man I had the privilege to work with at the bank. I have been back in Minnesota for nine years now, but will always remember him and his love for his family. My prayers are with you and your family.
