I just learned of Gary´s passing and want to extend my deepest sympathy to the Marino family. As a past employee at Englewood Electric there were many good memories of Gary´s leadership, humor, and his strong love and fondness he had for his family. To Donna, Frank, and Gary know that I will keep Gary in my prayers and thoughts.

When I entered the Electrical Industry many years ago, Gary was the 1st executive I met. He made a vivid impression on me, and had the opportunity to spend time with him over the years. I always appreciated the time he took with me to explain things, and was happy to see his career mushroom over the course of time. I know he will be missed by many, but he left a lasting impression on many more.

I roomed with Gary at the Phi Sigma Epsilon house in Dekalb along with
other brothers. We used to tease him about his neatness and organization. Later in life I found myself doing some of the same things! We had a lot of fun working together on floats and play scenery. He was quite the artist. I only saw him once since then meeting at Ditka's in Oakbrook with the Phi Sig lunch group. I spend the winter months in Naples and wished I had known that he did too...we could have spent more...
