Not sure what to say?

I just recently found this out. I went to elementary school (Griffith Court) with Gary and would walk home from school with him. We enjoyed our talks very much and looked forward to end the day talking. I moved away in 8th grade and our paths never crossed again until I read his story. I can say I always enjoyed his company. And can still remember his voice. Just wanted to let his family know that little moment in time will always be special to me. And I am deeply sorry for your loss.

I knew Gary many years ago when I was in high school. Gary, Marquita and little Gary used to come over to our house with my cousin Gary, Beaulah and the kids. There was always something going on at my dad (Uncle Mike's)house. Gary was a wonderful man and a joy to be around. I was very sad to hear of his passing. RIP Gary. Prayers to the Nagy family.

Gary was a great and wonderful friend. He was the best man in my wedding in 1978. Hearing of this tragedy was shocking and heartbreaking. I enjoyed so many good times with him. Everyone would be blessed to have had a friend like Gary. RIP Gary.

AUNT G ...YOUR MEMORIES WILL ALWAYS BE CHERISHED !!! REST IN PEACE LOVE YOU SCOTT

My heart go's out to the family so sorry to hear of you're loss. We went to school together he was good people and will be missed very much.. see ya on the other side bro.

With sympathy to the family and friends of Gary, I remember his smile and kind words in days gone by. May you forever rest in the arms of our father in heaven.

Gary was a very gentle human being. I knew him from working at the south end soup kitchen.I really only knew him for just over a year, but got to know him pretty good. Like I said he was a gentle and caring man and would never hurt anyone. Rest in peace my friend

Sending my most heartfelt condolences and gratitude for your service to our country. May God bless and keep you.

I did not have the honor to know Gary personally but his story has affected me deeply. I thank him for his service to our country and for the joy that it seems it brought to so many people. My thoughts and prayers are with all of his friends and family. R.I.P Gary.
