Gary C. Philbrick, 60, died peacefully Wednesday July 8th at Baystate Medical Center. Gary was born in Springfield the son of Beverly (Case) Philbrick and the late Clarence H. Philbrick. He was a 1973 graduate of West Springfield High School and went to work for several plumbing companies, the last being Springfield Plumbing Company. He then started his own business, New England Window Cleaning, where he had many wonderful customers. Gary was an avid car enthusiast and went to many car shows including an annual trip to California each year. The family would like to thank the many caregivers, nurses and aides at Heritage Hall Nursing Home for the loving care they gave to Gary and also the many friends that he had. He leaves his loving mother Beverly (Case) Philbrick; sister Cheryl Philbrick; niece Melissa Philbrick, grandnieces Makayla and Caroline Plummer; two aunts Betty Edmunds and Evalyn Bassani Philbrick, several cousins and devoted dog Isabella. The visiting hours for Gary will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Tuesday from 4:00 – 7:00pm. A private funeral will be held with burial in Paucatuck Cemetery.
