Read MoreI had the honor of serving with Gary at the 820th Ordinance Co at Fort Benning, Georgia for two years (1963-1964). Gary was an Outstanding officer and I thoroughly enjoyed serving with him. I last spoke to Gary while we were stationed in Wurzburg, Germany. It bears repeating, Gary was an Outstanding Officer and a Great Gentleman.

I send my deepest condolences to you regarding your father's passing. What a great guy and joy to be around. I so enjoyed him at the golf course. He made the day even better when he decided to join us. He kept me laughing with his comments and wit. Take comfort knowing that he is in a better place, finally with your mom.
