Rest in Peace, Gary

Forever in our hearts; Rest in Peace Thomas Sanders

Mr. Qualley (as he will always be Mr. Qualley) was not only a great basketball coach, but also such a kind and supportive one. He was a great role model to have as young girl and I was a better player and person for it.

My sincere sympathy to Joan and the family. I have many good memories of working at Langes Pharmacy during my high school years when Gary just purchased the store. He was truly an inspiration at what someone with great determination could accomplish. He is fondly remembered.

Gary and Ray were friends. Gary gave Ray good advice and Ray, who died in 2018, would be saddened to hear of his death.

Gary was an amazing man & a terrific boss. Gary made Lange's a fun place to work His memory will live on in the hearts of the many, many people whose lives he touched. My sincere sympathy.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Qualley family. As a sports reporter for the Journal Times in the early to mid-80s, I looked forward to covering local golf tournaments like the Tri-Course because they gave me the opportunity to watch Gary play. He was such a great competitor and an even greater gentleman. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

My deepest sympathy goes out to all who cared for Gary. He taught me many life lessons I will forever remember.
