Gary Paul Reid

SUDBURY- Gary P. Reid, long time resident of Sudbury MA, died on Sept 30th after a long battle with Alport's Syndrome, a debilitating kidney disease. Mr. Reid was born in St. Louis, MO to the late Antoinette "Toni" Reid and August M. Reid, Sr. He resided in Sudbury for forty five years. He is survived by his wife Barbara (Sharkey) Reid, son Garrett Reid, brothers Scott Reid (Ocala FL) and Bill Reid (Celebration FL) as well as sixteen nieces and twelve nephews. He is awaited by his deceased brothers Marc Reid and David Reid. Mr. Reid attended Lincoln Sudbury HS class of 1974 and was a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Alarm Tech Certification Program. He was a security system professional for many years before founding his own company, Network Security Inc in 1989. He was an avid surfcaster, golfer, vintage auto restorer, NASCAR fan, and friend to many. Relatives and friends are invited to Visiting Hours at the Fowler-Kennedy Funeral Home, 42 Concord St, Maynard, MA on Sunday, October 3rd from 4:00 to 8:00 pm. A funeral mass will be held on Monday October 4th @ 10:00 am at St. Anselm's Church, Landham Road, Sudbury MA before his burial at New Town Cemetery Sudbury.
