Gary James Reppin

Gary James Reppin, 60, a
former Mendota resident,
died Nov. 14, 2015, in St.
Francis Medical Center, Peoria.
There will be no funeral service.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m.
Friday in Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota.
Mr. Reppin was born June
20, 1955, in Mendota to
William and Mary Lou
(Biers) Reppin. He was a
1974 graduate of Mendota
High School and was a foreman
with the Milwaukee
Railroad until 1987.
He was a member of the
VFW and Moose Lodge. He
was a loyal fan of the
Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs.
He had lived the past 18
years with his sister, Sandy,
and brother-in-law, Duane
in Wyanet. He found a very
special happiness with his
sister Sandy's three grandchildren.
He is survived by his
mother, Mary Lou Reppin
of Mendota; three sisters,
Sandy (Duane) Jones of
Wyanet, Bonnie (Don) Saylor
of Mendota and Robin
(Benny) Lawson of Florida;
three brothers, Steve
(Kathy) Reppin of Mendota,
Bill Reppin of Texas and
Doug Reppin of Sparland;
and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death
by his father.
Memorials may be directed
to the donor's choice.
