GARY A. RIGHINO, age 73, “Older than Dirt”, of Greensburg passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at his residence. Gary was born on August 27, 1952 in Greensburg, a son of the late Frank and Estella (Verner) Righino.
Gary will be sadly missed by his loving family; his wife, Carolyn (Hastings) Righino; his children, Summer and Autumn; his grandchildren, Emma and Rylie; along with his brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and all of his buckeroos.


Gary received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Penn State University at McKeesport in Mechanical Engineering and was employed as a Foreman by Cavcon Construction for multiple decades

I met Gary through Lorie and Dave. We were all young at the time. I remember him being funny, liking to party and a hard worker. May he rest in peace and be reunited with his parents and friends in heaven.

He was a great man, he will be truly missed but now he'll be home with his mom& dad, his sister, his niece and many more of his family and friends. Love you cuz!
