Dear Pat and family,
It has been an honor to care for Gary over the last few years. His up beat attitude has inspired many of us. And Pat your perserverance has also been a witness to your love for Gary. I pray that you have peace in his passing. Sincerely,

Dear Pat & Family,
What a joy to know that Gary has passed into God's presence. He can run forever & not be weary! He's probably already found several games to ref! Denny still talks about your Duke of Hazzards horn on your van. Always remember you are never alone. God is with you always, & you have lots of friends to reach out to here on earth! Love, Ken, Sharon & Denny Whitaker Jenison, MI.

as a nurse who cared for gary, i am truly blessed to have known him. he always embraced the challenges ahead with positive attitude and a smile.

May your Family take comfort in the wonderful memories of their Dad, grandpa, and Husband . Every person that came in contact with Gary was blessed to be part of his life, he had such deep peace and contentment that was such a gift from God. Lean on the Lord in the months and year to follow.

As one of the 5 Heart nurses I can attest to the fact that Gary lived his life with kindness, humor and dignity. It was an honor to care for Gary. Our hearts go out to the Schuur family in this loss, 'tho we know that Gary is rejoicing with his body now whole and pain free. We will miss you.

Dear Pat and Family: I was so sad to hear about Gary's passing this week but Heaven will be a better place because of him. I saw him at Mary Free Bed and then often at the Hudsonville games and he was never without a smile. That smile will be missed on earth. He was truly a wonderful person and we've been blessed to know him. My deepest sympathies.
