Not sure what to say?

I've known Judge Sharpe since my NYSP days and during my later tenure as a CSO at the Foley Courthouse. We were both veterans and shared an admiration for "the Duke." He was always approachable and we occasionally shared a good joke. I had the greatest respect for him as a jurist, but most of all as a friend. He was the one who steered me to the community in SC that is now my retirement home. RIP "YOUR HONOR!"

Awfully sorry to read of Gary´s death. He was a good man, a good lawyer, a good judge and a very nice guy. I enjoyed my association with him. Condolences from Cape Cod.

Our deepest sympathies to Mike and the rest of the Sharpe family.

Lorraine, Rob and Mike, words cannot truly express our sorrow upon learning of your beloved "Gary's" passing. I was fortunate enough to share most of my 37-plus year career with Judge Sharpe, all the way back to USAO in Bingamton. He always had my back in the trenches. I learned so much through him over the years. Until we meet again, your Honor...court is adjourned.

Gary was a tremendous Judge who elevated the practice of everybody around him. I also had the privilege of meeting him several times in social settings and he was a great man. My condolences to his family. Rest in peace.

Sincere condolences to the Sharpe family. Gary was an exceptional jurist and dedicated public servant. Joseph Teresi

Lorraine, Rob and Mike, there truly are no words to adequately express my sympathies to you, while at the same time expressing what Judge Sharpe meant to me. He made me strive to always be on my game in the courtroom and made my job an absolute pleasure. He ALWAYS had my back in the trenches. I have many fond memories which I will cherish. Godspeed, Your Honor...until we meet again... Theresa Casal, NDNY Official Court Reporter (1991-2021) (retired)

Gary made me laugh everytime we played golf and discussed food.

I didn't know Judge Sharpe personally, but I'll never forget a civil bench trial over ten years ago where he presided and I was a paralegal for the defense, plus saw parts of a few criminal trials from the gallery. He was always fair, knowledgeable and tough but also respectful. Condolences to his family.
