Not sure what to say?

So sorry to hear about Gary. I will always remember him as a terrific dancer and having a great way to turn a phrase. I still use one of his sayings to this day when I teach the medical students.Brings back lots of fond memories of my time with the Silvas.Prayers going your way.

Wooshie, Phil, Donald and all of the Silvas- so sorry to hear of GeeGee' passing. Wooshie, does it seem like that long ago you, I and GeeGee rode, all three of us on one bike to Cleary playground and sang all the way? Sure will miss him!

To the Silva family: I would like to extend my condolences at the passing of Coach Silva. I had the pleasure of playing for Coach Silva at Delgado Community College in the late 70's. Coach Silva took a group of players that no-one else wanted and won the conference and regional championship. He was a great coach and a great person to be around. He is now absent from the body but present with God. May God's blessing be upon you.

Whoosie and family, We were so sorry to hear about Gary's passing and hope that it was peaceful. He was a good coach and a good man. He will be missed. Our prayers are with him and you. Love Evelyn and John Blanchard

Gee Gee and I were friends in high school and I often thought of him over the years, wondering how he was doing. I'm so sorry about his passing but I know he is spreading joy in Heaven. God Bless you, Gee Gee.

Coach Silva was a wonderful man! Always full of life and soooo funny!!! He will be missed!!

So sorry to hear of the passing of Coach Silva. He truely made practice fun.. Fondest memories were 8th grade baskeball traveling around uptown looking for a borrowed gym or OUTDOOR court to practice on. Gee Gee always had a smile and contagious laugh.. He'll be missed.
