Not sure what to say?

Though Gary and I were in the same class in High School, I did not know him then. Later on, when he hosted our class reunion, I became aware of him. The best legacy a person can have is what Gary has: He has a loving family, respect in his community, and all who mention him, from folks who were at the reunions, the Golden Grad luncheons, or had casual business relations with him, always described him as "so nice, and a perfect, gentle man". It doesn't get any better than that.

Just an all around good guy. I am very saddened to learn this news, and extend my deepest sympathies to Steve, and the rest of Gary's family.

@ Nunes Pristine Auto Body I worked with Gary most of my life. Just a real nice guy! RIP Gary. One of the good ones.

My condolences and sympathy to Gary's family. I knew Gary as a member of the Minor Historians. He gave several presentations over the years (the last one on restoring his 1926 Dodge). He was so knowledgeable on local history. Any photo that was brought to the meeting he knew what building it was, where it was and something about it. He will be greatly missed.

My condolances to the entire family. I had the honor of serving as Gary´s primary physician for many years and always looked forward to our office visits. He was a true gentle man

We passed pleasantries at many Cal Poly Baseball games over the years. Always had a great smile. Great guy. We will miss him at Baggett Stadium (and Alex G. Spanos Stadium) next season.

So sorry.he will be missed. I met him at Kiwanis.

So sorry. Fond high school memories. Randal Cruikshanks

My prayers for the family during this difficult time. We lived on the same street while I was growing up. Great neighbor to have. Very kind man.
