Always such a sweet guy! Loved seeing him .

I first met Gary while shopping at the Booterie in the 1970´s. He was always so kind, helpful and always greeted me with a smile. We became friends over the years and I can honestly say that he was the best friend anyone could have. The one memory I always laugh about is that when I´d go in the store and he started bringing me shoes to try on, he´d always ask if we were going to "keep it under 30 pairs to try on". I had the privilege of working with Gary at the Shoe Gallery after his retirement. Gary had a wonderful work ethic and was very knowledgeable about shoes which along with his charming personality made him a favorite with customers and co workers. Every Saturday he would bring donuts to us to help kickstart the day at the store.
