Not sure what to say?

I just learned you were gone, 2013. Although it's been 45 yrs since Prom..my heart aches, while I'm flooded with so many memories of you from so many decades in our lives.
I always thought I would see you again.
My love for you, to Renee and Iris.

I had the great fortune to meet Gary when the Girl Scouts were involved in volunteering for the Simi Valley Childrens' Book Festival. He was truly a Renaissance man doing everything. Once in a while I would also see him at Mervyn's. I always enjoyed talking with him-he had a unique sense of humor! Renee, Iris, and family, we will be thinking of you and remembering Gary always.

Renee,
I'm so very sorry for your loss. I read the write-up on Gary and he was obviously an amazing man who touched many lives.
I miss you. If there is anything you or Iris need, please call me.
-- Lorena

I give this one thought to keep-
I am with you still, I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.

When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars
that shine at night.

Do not think of me as gone-
I am with you still in each new dawn.

Remember the good times. Love ya much. Your Lizzy!

Dear Renee & Iris, I am was so very sorry to hear of Gary's passing. It has been years since the days Iris & Ashley were at Hollow Hills together. I will always remember Gary for all his help. He was a man who could be counted on to help whether it was Field Day, help set up before events or take things down after events. I wish you both the best of luck. Take care of each other and please call if I can do anything for you.

Renee, I was am sorry to hear of your loss. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow.

When I think of loss of a loved one, I think of this poem.

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep...

To Gary's family:
I was very sorry to hear of Gary's passing. Gary and I used to work together at the old News-Chronicle. I had been thinking about him lately, wondering how he was doing. Hopefully, he's in a better place.

We are sorry to hear of your loss Renee. Our thoughts & prayers are with you, Iris & all those left behind. We miss him so much & share in your sorrow. We are here for you always.
Love,
Ann, Susan & Dave
