Mrs. Sommerman, i was just talking with Jonney V. and asked how Gary was and found out this tragic news. I am so sorry for your loss. Gary taught me so much at Barnes back when i was just starting out and I'm sothankful for knowing him. He would always say something to make me laugh. He's now on the best course he's ever played. My sympathies to you and yours.

Susan I'm sorry I wasn't around for the wake. But my thoughts and prayers are with you and now he's not suffering any more. Tell the kids I'm thinking of them.

Sommerman family,
My sincerest sympathy in the loss of your son, husband and father. I went to school with Gary
beginning in John Fitch Elementary school. Along with his quick wit he was always chosen first if a kickball or baseball team needed a really fast runner!
I hope your own special memories of him will bring a smile to your face and bring you peace. My condolences to all his family and friends.
